This is a Lot of 14 Antique 1906 JEVETE French Embroidery Letters on Original Vellum Papers / Cards.
These beautiful, unusual embroidery letters are mounted on the original papers with the original box.  The papers have French and other patent number information, along with a 1906 date.  The box lid indicates the patented letters won a Gold Medal at the 1904 Lyon Exhibition.
The letters offered included the complete set that were available for purchase.  We have no other letters of the alphabet, and the letters are offered in the complete lot of 14 ONLY; none will be removed for separate sale.
All of the letters are L, M, or N, in a combination of small and large size.  The small Ls are about 3" wide x 2 1/4" high, and the large Large Ls are 4" x 3 1/4" high.  The other letters are of similar size and you can see the relative sizes in the main photo.
The instructions for sewing are on the box lid, and "L, M, N" is written in ink on the lid as seen.
Condition:
The letters are all in new, unused condition with a little minor wrinkling on the paper vellum.
The box is in very poor condition with all of the corners of the lid and bottom sections split, and minor scuffing and wear on the printing and graphics on the lid.  The box is offered as found / as seen / as described.
