For sale is a wonderful handmade christmas stocking. It features a Toy Shop with a boy and girl looking into the window. There is just so much detail. This stocking is from the JCA Needle Treasures Collection with 100% wool yarn.
It is just a charming hand crafted stocking that is ready for you to personalize with your own name. Once a needlepoint stocking is completed it is more difficult to add a name. You will have to add a name with a glitter pen. The only other option would be to take part of the stocking apart and remove all the needlepoint stitches and add a name while filling in the stitches.
Measures 16 x 9 and is fully lined.
The title of the kit was: TOY SHOP CHRISTMAS STOCKING designed by Nancy Bombard.
Included is this listing is a picture of a kit for this stocking which is shown for reference only as this stocking does not come with a kit.
This hand crafted stocking was a model for the kit.
This was a model to a needlepoint kit which would have been on display in a store to show the prospective buyers how the item will look when finished. It has a label indicating it was done in the Azores.
I learned recently that the name on many of these finished pieces identified the company as JCA Inc. with an address in Massachusettes. They evidently ceased operations and will not be making/distributing anymore needlecraft kits. These finished piece from kits are already hard to find and will only be offered occasionally perhaps on the internet. Per the JCA website:

We would like to thank our loyal customers who have supported JCA for over 50 years.
