Handmade Cross Stitch Christmas Stocking SOUTH POLE Polar Bear PERSONALIZE FREE!

Up for auction a charming hand crafted counted cross stitch stocking.  It is a picture a polar bear dressed in Christmas garb with a bundle of presents accompanied by two penguins sitting on top of the ice.  It is just charming!
It reminds me of the polar bear in the coke commercials.
This is from the JCA Needle Treasures Collection and the title is: SOUTH POLE HOLIDAY STOCKING - Kit #02837. It is adapted from a design by Deborah Calvin Borgo - 1990.
The stocking is 9 1/2" x 15 1/2" tall.  It has blue piping and white felt backing and it totally lined.
At the top there is room to personalize this stocking by adding a name.  I will gladly do that for you - just email me after the purchase with the information.
I recently sold one of these stockings and embroidered the name "BRANDY" on it. I have included a picture of that stocking so that you can see how nicely a name came added for it. Also did one in April of this year with the name "ANDREW" - a picture of which is also shown in the listing.
there is one picture that shows the inside lining that has a label indicating that this was the photo model. However, I already sold that model. This one is identical but without the label on the inside.
Included in the listing is a picture of the kit which is shown for reference only as this stocking does not come with a kit.
This  was a hand crafted model to a  kit which would have been on display in a store to show the prospective buyers how the item will look when finished. It has a label indicating it was done in the Azores.
I learned recently that the name on many of these finished pieces identified the company as JCA Inc. with an address in Massachusettes. They evidently ceased operations and will not be making/distributing anymore needlecraft kits. These finished piece from kits are already hard to find and will only be offered occasionally perhaps on the internet. Per the JCA website:
