1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Convertible. Yes it really has only 62,344 miles on it. The odometer matches the title mileage from when it was sold to the last owner in 1984. The gentleman that owned it passed. He had tons of antique's, classic cars, and trucks. Most were completely restored. This one is sitting on its original chaise and the chaise looks to be in great shape. The body has some bondo on it and has some rust on some lower parts of the vehicle. It looks like he was going to restore it from the bottom up. The convertible frame is there the engine is there. Only 2555 convertibles were manufactured in 1973 world wide. Here is the numbers stamped on the engine ( B 6 0 6 8 0 7 8 ) the last number is hard to make out I could not tell if it was a 2, 3, or an 8. I'm going to call it an 8. It is missing a carb and a steering column. This is a project, It is not running but all the glass is good. This will needs to be completely restored to be road worthy. Not for the faint of hart.... LOL now I am just having fun :) Happy bidding..... Clean open title in hand!!!! PS. I do have the alternator and the squirrel cage......
