    This is a modern Proof Print of the beautiful
    .00 Gold Certificate
    of Deposit from the
    Republic of Hawaii
    . (Issue of 1895) The original certificates were printed in the 1890's and these are made from the exact same steel engraved plate from the ABNC archives, and in the same colors.
    Being proofs, they have no serial numbers and only the face is printed.
    This Intaglio print was made in 1989 and there is a certification on the back signed by the President of American Bank Note Co.
